Note Cosmetics BB Cream

Hey everyone! So I thought it was about time I wrote a post on the Note Cosmetics BB Cream. I have been wearing this practically everyday for the past couple of weeks since I picked it up. After seeing the lovely Karen from Lovelygirliebits rave and rave about this I just had to give it a try – all in the name of research of course. As I said I have been wearing this all the time so feel I can give a full review now.

Now I am usually a medium to full coverage foundation kind of girl so I wasn’t sure if this was going to be the type of base I would like. But the weather here in Ireland has been fairly warm over the last few weeks so I wanted to try something a bit lighter for everyday wear.

Well to say I was shocked and surprised at just how much coverage this Note BB Cream provides would be an understatement! Honestly cannot get over how flawless my skin looks when I wear this. I like to apply this with my expert face brush from Real Techniques. I don’t have freckles as such but do have some pigmentation marks from the sun and this covers them no problem. It just leaves a gorgeous glowy finish on the skin.

I still would use concealer under my eyes and over any noticeable blemishes or spots. And I also use a little lightweight powder like MAC next to nothing just to set it particularly over my t-zone as it can get a bit shiney. As it is quite moisturising I would probably recommend this for more normal / drier skin types. It does not settle into any fine lines. I have worn it for up to twelve hours without any issues, no breakdown or fading.

If I had to highlight any negative with the Note Cosmetics BB cream it would be the limited shade range. It only comes in three shades and this shade no 1 is the lightest. I am very pale naturally so I do need to blend this down my neck and ideally wear it when I am wearing a light tan.

If you are looking for a lightweight, long-lasting base with good coverage then you cannot pass this! I cannot recommend this highly enough and will be trying some more of their products. I always assumed all BB creams were really light coverage like tinted moisturiser but this has changed my mind!

The Note Cosmetics BB Cream retails at just €11.95. If you are interested in trying this or any of their other products you can check out the Note Cosmetics Ireland Facebook page for a list of stockists.
