Isn’t she lovely……..Isn’t she wonderful…… Can you tell how excited I am to have finally gotten my hands on the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette 🙂
I mean just look at those gorgeous warm toned shadows! I am a complete Urban Decay Naked palette junkie and I am not a bit ashamed of the fact I own them all lol. When the Naked Heat palette was announced earlier this year I just knew it had to be mine! Urban Decay just know how to do eyeshadows like Disney know how to do animation. As you can see from the picture I also picked up one of the new vice lipsticks and one of the 24/7 eye pencils from the Naked Heat collection.
Just like the previous Naked palettes Urban decay Naked Heat is made up of twelve eyeshadows. There is a mix of both matte and shimmer shades and all are really pigmented – nothing less than what we expect from Urban Decay. The shades range from really light neutrals to warm rust colours including a greyish toned purple. The very first shade in the palette is Ounce which is more of a satin finish and perfect for brow or inner corner highlight.
All the shades apply really well with excellent colour payoff and little if any fallout. The mattes do kick up a little in the pan but I can live with that.
These swatches were taken indoors without a flash and I think you can really see just how pigmented the shadows are! This palette will just be perfect for Autumn/Winter and can be either kept toned down for a daytime look or worn as a full on warm smokey eye look. I have hazel coloured eyes and the warm rust colours definitely bring out the green in my eyes.
If you’re in the market for a warm toned palette or just feel like treating yourself then I highly recommend the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette!
Vice Lipstick and 24/7 Eye Pencil
Along with the Naked Heat palette they have released three new Vice lipstick shades and two new 24/7 Eye Pencil shades to compliment the palette.
The lipstick I chose is in the shade Fuel, a beautiful peachy nude shade. It is a cream finish lipstick. It applies perfectly and is fairly longwearing. I am not one for wearing a statement lip and that is why I chose this one over the others. This is my first lipstick from the brand and I am so impressed with the quality that I might just invest in some more.
There are two new shades in the 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil range and the shade I chose is Alkaline. It is a gorgeous reddish purple toned pencil and really compliments the warmer shades in the palette. I have worn this in the last couple days both on the upper lash line and also as a pop of colour on the bottom water line. I have previously used the 24/7 liners before and they really are lovely and creamy and easy to apply aswell as being longwearing!
Urban Decay Naked Heat palette retails at €47.50 and you can pick it up from your local Urban Decay counter or online here along with the lipsticks and liners which retail at €18.50 for the lipsticks and €19.50 for the 24/7 Glide on eye pencil
